According to the 2023 U.S. Surgeon General’s Advisory on The Healing Effects of Social Connection and Community, “lacking social connection can increase the risk for premature death as much as smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day.” The report goes on to state “Social connection is a fundamental human need, as essential to survival as food, water, and shelter.”

Las Vegas might be one of the loneliest cities in America—But not on our watch.

Sure, the Strip is lit 24/7 with people from all over the world, but finding real friends? That’s a serious challenge, even if you attend church regularly.
